In a brightly colored retro-futuristic city, a young woman stands amidst opulent architecture and marvels at steam-powered airships. This woman is Bella Baxter. She was brought back to life by a scientist who is as brilliant as he is unorthodox. Robbed of the memories of her old life, she is now looking for new horizons and eager to learn about and understand the world. On her adventure across continents, she ignores conventions and stands up for her own freedom and self-determination.
In Poor Things, Emma Stone as Bella Baxter takes us into a fantastic Victorian pastel world. The set is opulent, playful, and stubborn - just like the protagonist.
