Already the queer film of the year: Adam lives a secluded life in an almost empty high-rise building in London and begins a passionate affair with the mysterious Harry, who lives above him.

The lonely writer Adam (Andrew Scott) tries to write about his parents, whom he lost in a car accident as a child. At the same time, the charming and seemingly uncomplicated neighbor Harry (Paul Mescal) appears in his life. This unfolds a mysterious story in which Adam repeatedly returns to his childhood home and communicates with his parents. Adam gets a new opportunity to open up to them, but the surreal meetings with his parents and Harry intertwine until the sense of reality is lost.
At the heart of this metaphysical love story is the attempt to make peace with the past and the approach to love and intimacy, even between different generations.
