Life in Barbieland is sunny, harmonious, simply wonderful. All Barbies are successful as doctors, presidents, astronauts and are unconditionally adored by their Kens. But one day, the "stereotypical" Barbie, who always has everything flawless, suddenly thinks about death. Next she falls from the roof of her dream house. And her feet land on the ground. Completely! With her heels!
To solve her problems, Barbie is sent to the real world. There she is supposed to look for the girl whose toy she is, because that is the only way Barbie can "function" again. In the real world, she is confronted with a disillusioning concept: the patriarchy... Since he cannot live without his beloved, Ken simply comes along. And that is not much help for Barbie.
There will be a short break in the middle of the film during which the guests can refill their drinks in the canteen.
