Brady Blackburn lives as a rodeo rider in the American heartlands, more precisely in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. He is only slowly recovering from a life-threatening head injury he sustained at a rodeo. His best friend Lane has been paralyzed since falling from a horse. They are both happiest when they watch videos of their previous performances and triumphs together. Brady is faced with the existential question: what next? The young cowboy is only slowly finding his way back to the horse, to his job and also to a certain normality in his life.
