Wes Anderson's new film DARJEELING LIMITED (The Darjeeling Limited) is a family story of a very different kind - between Indian tradition and American lifestyle.
After the dissimilar brothers Francis (OWEN WILSON), Peter (ADRIEN BRODY) and Jack (JASON SCHWARTZMAN) have long since grown apart, the experience of a train journey through India together is intended to bring them back together.
On their spiritual trip, however, they quickly go off course - unforeseeable events involving poisonous snakes, over-the-counter painkillers, Indian cough syrup and pepper spray disturb the meditative calm. In the end, the brothers find themselves completely alone in the middle of the desert with only eleven suitcases, a printer and a laminator. And this is the beginning of a whole new journey...
