The New York-based band around Jewish-Yemenite musician Ravid Kahalani, who grew up in Israel, says they are looking for one thing above all: solidarity. According to Kahalani, who learned the Yemenite dialect of Hebrew in his youth and now sings in Hebrew, English, Yemen Hebrew and Arabic, the music of Yemen Blues is a "middle-eastern soup" - music that is made up of all possible styles from the SWANA region*.
This year they are presenting their new album, from which we can already hear the new single "PEOPLE".
