2024, D, Martin Becker
Nikola Tesla was an eccentric inventor whose ideas shaped the power grid, televisions and telephones. He fought against Thomas Edison and prevailed with his alternating current technology. Tesla's goal was to transmit energy wirelessly, but he was not economically successful. He died alone and impoverished in 1943. But the history of technology today shows that not all ideas were fantasies. In many things Tesla was simply far ahead of his time.
