They dream of Disneyland, but after the brothers Max and Leo emigrate from Mexico to the USA, they first have to settle into their new home. And they have to abide by the seven rules that their mother has imposed on them. While the mother goes looking for a job, the two brothers stay at home alone in the sparsely furnished apartment during the day and let their imaginations run wild. Very atmospheric, stirring and yet full of hope, based on the director's childhood memories.
