After a year in prison, Goalie returns to his hometown of Schummertal. This is where he grew up, this is where he has his friends, this is where he wants to start anew.
Goalie is now clean, soon finds a job and falls head over heels in love with Regula. But the new beginning turns out to be more difficult than expected: his best friend Ueli, whom he covered for at the police, has slipped even deeper into drugs and his new love is already taken.
When Regula is beaten up by her boyfriend, Goalie sees his chance. He spontaneously travels to Spain with her and reaches for happiness.
But the past catches up with him. Goalie has to realize that his best friend has betrayed him... will he ever be able to trust him again?
