The Wachau - A slow train ride along vineyards and the waves of the Danube (2004, D)
Local films don't lie, at least when it comes to the beauty of the landscape. This is especially true for the Wachau World Heritage Site. That's why the show took a slow train along the Danube through one of the most beautiful wine-growing regions in Europe. The route winds past monasteries and castles and we followed it with a vintage diesel locomotive and platform wagon.
