Family experience at the castle to immerse yourself, participate and enjoy.
A delicious smell of bread is in the air, a stonemason is hammering away at a sculpture, rhythmic hammer blows can be heard from the forge and the man-at-arms is looking for volunteers to train on the halberd - that can only mean one thing: it is Medieval Day at Frauenfeld Castle.
The colorful spectacle is accompanied by 20-minute tours of the castle, short theater pieces, fabulous story boxes and medieval music. For your physical well-being, there are hearty grilled dishes in the castle tavern.
