Luigi Ughetto and his brothers leave their village of Ughettera, the land of the Ughettos in their native Piedmont, to discover "La Merica", this fabulous land where dollars grow on trees. Instead of America, Luigi will set up his bundle in Provence. His story is that of hundreds of thousands of Italians who left their homeland to settle in France, Switzerland, Belgium and everywhere else.
