On the shores of Lake Geneva, the gentle 14-year-old Margaux meets the rebellious foster child Juliette and Joël, a fisherman who has just returned from Indonesia because of the death of his mother: three lonely souls who are looking for their place in life and who support each other for a brief moment in the feverish summer heat. An idyllic fishing port becomes their retreat, the lake and nature their allies, until reality tears the trio apart again.
