Give cheese and more to the monastery abbot of Sangallensis.
Like every year "around Martini", mule hikers and a number of companions set off on the old mule route Appenzell-St.Gallen. On the backs of mules, donkeys and horses they carry all the taxes that the prince abbot claims for himself. The cut-off date is the traditional interest day, November 11th. Anyone who doesn't deliver must expect terrible coercive measures. They reach the monastic and secular authorities via Schlatt, Leimensteig, Göbsi, Teufen Schäflisegg, unterer Brand and St.Georgen. They all meet at Gallusplatz, at the well-known fountain. APPA GALLA - mule routes and more.
