Gon­do­la

This cable car with its two oval gondolas has seen better days. But day after day it travels in the Georgian Caucasus between a mountain village and a small town in the valley. The few passengers of the museum-like technical object live in the village. Tourists hardly ever seem to get lost in this remote area. His daughter Iva comes from the city for the old conductor's funeral and decides to take over his job. In her uniform, she accompanies one of the gondolas that crosses at a lofty height with the other one, which is traveling in the opposite direction. The young conductor Nino is standing in it. The two women start to think up little surprises for their fleeting encounters, which soon become more elaborate.
