Every year, Kultur macht Schule awards the Funkenflieger prize to exemplary cultural projects from schools. The jury selects the Funkenfliegers from the projects received in which students have actively participated in the artistic process.
The winners are awarded gold or silver projects. Outstanding cultural projects receive prize money of 5,000 francs each. Other exemplary projects are honored with prize money of 2,000 francs each. The prizes are presented to the schools at the public awards ceremony.
The winning schools provide brief insights into their projects. The event will be accompanied by music and rounded off with an aperitif afterwards.
The school classes to be honored, relatives of the students involved and other interested people from the education, politics and culture sectors are cordially invited.
