Festival Siberian Summer 2024, Trogen

  • Sounds

Saf Sap (SEN), Enrico Lenzin, Social Dance (FRA)

In a small valley above Trogen, the forces of chaos are forming at this very moment into a far-reaching drumbeat of frivolous, cheeky culture of joy. You are cordially invited to the well-known valley state of klein.sibirien, where culture and nature will merge into the most tempting forms for the fifth time in August 2024. World-class music, a floating circus tent, dancing wildlings, food and drink await you, off the beaten festival track in a mindful, family atmosphere.
The ninth day of the festival invites you to intercultural dance!
Enrico Lenzin is considered one of the most versatile and creative drummers, alphorn players and rhythm artists in Switzerland. He is also a true globetrotter: he has already performed in over 30 countries and shown his performance on many TV shows at home and abroad. He plays a mix of tradition and modern music, combined with loops, rhythm & tap dancing and even techno.
Social Dance from France conjures up the storm without restraint. Through their intoxicating melodies and hectic rhythms, the group creates a restless musical community, a true electrifying and liberating euphoria. Social Dance surrenders to the ballet of its emotions and transforms its sensitivity into strength like a thunderclap.
Original Energy! Saf Sap is a family of musicians from Senegal and has been connected to music for generations. Dancing, singing and drumming were in their cradle, and the stage has been their world since childhood. Their overall performance is highly infectious. Fasten your seatbelts!
Los Boozan Dukes is Spanish street music in its purest form, sung in Spanish and French Creole, growled from an old gramophone and accompanied by soul-saving calypso harmonies. Madre de Dios!
Electronic folk project from Norway combines folk melodies with psytrance, drum and bass, jungle and dubstep. Not wild enough yet? Well then: The whole thing is accompanied by a Jew's harp. Herregud!
