Nobody takes the "No Bilingual Initiative" seriously. But then it is accepted and from now on only French is to be spoken in Switzerland. This puts our country in a chaotic state of emergency and many citizens are going through a crisis as a result. This is also the case with Walter Egli, who works for the federal police, does not speak a bit of French and has to ensure that the transition to monolingualism takes place properly. Together with his French-speaking partner, he is to uncover a resistance group that is emerging in the south of Switzerland and is using every means at its disposal to oppose the implementation of the initiative.
