Computer genius Milo Hofmann (RYAN PHILLIPPE) wants to get to the top. With his best friend, computer freak Teddy (TEDDY CHIN), he founds a start-up company for innovative communications software. His role model is the gifted high-tech mogul Gary Winston (TIM ROBBINS), whose company N.U.R.V. is the most powerful and influential in the entire computer industry. When Milo receives a unique offer from Gary Winston to work for him as a programmer, the young hacker doesn't hesitate for a second: he leaves Teddy behind and moves to Silicon Valley with his girlfriend Alice (CLAIRE FORLANI).
