Stimme und Saxophon verschmelzen in der Musik von Kurt Weill in charmanter Klangkombination und lassen so den Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts im Waschhhaus der Villa Grunholzer atmosphärisch aufblühen. Die Vielfältigkeit von Weill’s Musik wird durch kontrastierende und ergänzende Perlen diverser anderer Komponisten zur Geltung gebracht. Als zusammenhängender fil rouge wirken zusätzlich die beiden Instrumente, auf denen die Mezzosopranistin Gianna Lunardi und der Saxofonist Florian Haupt die passenden Farben zusammenmischen.
