The Bouvier-Sauvage family looks back proudly on a long aristocratic lineage. When the only daughter announces that she wants to marry the son of a simple Peugeot dealer, there is little enthusiasm. When the future in-laws meet for the first time, both sides quickly realize that they are not only divided by their wine and car preferences, but by entire worlds. To make matters worse, the bride and groom have commissioned DNA tests that reveal more about the ancestry of those present. Oh la la, now the mood is threatening to turn completely sour, because the test results could bring down many a family tree and cause the wedding to collapse.
