AR­Te Art Fair Kon­stanz

The art world will once again gather at the Bodenseeforum when the fourth edition of the ARTe Konstanz art fair opens its doors from July 12 to 14, 2024.

Since its founding in 2016, ARTe has established itself as the leading independent fair for contemporary art in the Stuttgart area, today with sister fairs in Konstanz, Wiesbaden, Burg Stettenfels in Untergruppenbach near Heilbronn, Dortmund and Osnabrück.

With its premiere in 2021, which attracted 1,500 visitors, the event in Konstanz has become an annual highlight for art lovers from all over the Lake Constance region. 

The interplay of the summery ambience and the picturesque backdrop of the event location, directly on the banks of the Seerhein Promenade, creates a unique atmosphere of lightness, holiday feelings and artistic inspiration.

Around 60 galleries and artists from Germany and Switzerland present their works and current positions on the ground and upper floors of the air-conditioned Bodenseeforum.

Represented are, for example, the Pop Up Gallery Lörrach by Dieter Korb, located near Basel, and the ArtGallery12 from Bad Krozingen in Baden-Württemberg. Regional exhibitors include Britta Hering (Kreuzlingen), Ralf Lürig (Aach) and Thomas Reck (Romanshorn). Gabriela Blachetta (Leingarten near Heilbronn) and Steffen Schulze (Schorndorf near Stuttgart) are also participants in the fair.

"In our view, the ARTe Konstanz art fair is not only a regionally important event, but also an important part of cultural exchange. Our event brings artists and art lovers together across national borders and creates a platform for cross-border creative dialogues and impulses," says Lisa Marie Nau, the fair's marketing manager.

As usual, ARTe presents itself as an open exhibition format that brings art lovers and artists together. In an informal and airy atmosphere, visitors have the opportunity to discover the diversity of contemporary art and get to know the artists personally.

In addition to an impressive range of art, the fair also offers a free wrapping service for purchased works and a convenient EC and credit card payment station. There are around 140 parking spaces available on site. The nearby SEE-PARK-HAUS offers additional parking spaces and, thanks to good public transport connections, it is also possible to travel by bus and train.
