The Mysterious Islands (2019, A, Cornelius Obonya, Johannes Berger, Stephan Krasser)

Over 80 percent of all islands in the Mediterranean are in Greece. But only a few of the over 3,000 islands are permanently inhabited. Like the volcanic island of Milos. It lies in the southern Aegean and is a paradise for migratory birds. Crete is Greece's largest island and a popular holiday destination. In the high elevations of the Lefka Ori Mountains there is snow as early as early autumn.
