Die Cambrian Line ist etwas für Genießer: Die blauen und silbernen Dieseltriebwagen von Transport for Wales starten in Pwllheli, bewegen sich über die Holzbrücke von Barmouth und direkt an der Meereskante entlang, um dann an zahlreichen Bedarfshaltestellen in der Küstenlandschaft zu stoppen. Drei Haltestellen sind für Dampflok- und Schmalspurbahn-Liebhaber ein Muss: Porthmadog, Fairbourne und Tywyn.
