The Cambrian Line is something for connoisseurs: The blue and silver diesel railcars of Transport for Wales start in Pwllheli, move over the wooden bridge at Barmouth and directly along the sea edge, then stop at numerous request stops in the coastal landscape. Three stops are a must for steam locomotive and narrow-gauge railway enthusiasts: Porthmadog, Fairbourne and Tywyn.
