Gregoire Canvel ist ein charismatischer Filmproduzent, sein Beruf ist seine Passion und selbst am Wochenende lässt er kaum vom Telefon. Dass seine Firma kurz vor dem Kollaps steht, verschweigt er seiner Familie. Als sich die Realität nicht mehr verdrängen lässt, erkennt er, dass er mit seinen ambitionierten Plänen gescheitert ist. Gregoire zieht einen radikalen Schlussstrich.
