Sonus Silentii ist ein Abend für Performance-Kunst, der auf dem Klang der Stille basiert. Der Abend konzentriert sich auf die Zugänglichkeit für Gehörlose und umfasst Performances, Interaktionen und eine Erfahrung, die viele Menschen kennen und zu der wir alle unterschiedliche Beziehungen haben: Stille. Während des gesamten Abends ist Stille im Raum obligatorisch, und die Kommunikation erfolgt über handgeschriebene Nachrichten, als wäre es ein Online-Chat. Im Rahmen von Sonus Silentii finden jeweils zwei Performances sowie ein Nachtessen in Stille statt. Das Format endet mit einer bass-heavy Live Music-Performance – welche durch die starken Bassvibrationen auch für Gehörlose spürbar ist.

Sonus Silentii is an evening for performance art based on the sound of silence. Focusing on accessibility for deaf people, the evening includes performances, interactions and an experience that many people know, and we all have different relationships to it: silence. Throughout the whole evening, silence is mandatory within the space and communication is done through handwritten messages as if it was an online chat. There are two performances and a dinner in silence waiting for your – the evening is to be ended with a bass-heavy live music performance, which makes it perceptible for deaf people, too.
